It's been a while since I have added to my blog. It seems sometimes I don't have enough time to get everything done. Some days I'm gone most of the day doing "family things" and other times I play on the computer all day and get nothing done. I've decided I want to keep posting on my blog as something I say might help someone at sometime.
For those reading this, you might know that I collect and repair dolls. My repair skills do not extend to the old wood composition dolls but I sure wish I could do those. There is definitely a skill repairing those. And, many times it costs about $200 to $400 to have one professionally repaired. On this blog, I thought I could give some hints and cleaning tips for dolls among the posts I plan to make. Some dolls must be cleaned in a certain way or they will be ruined. And sometimes I might have materials, arms, legs, bodies which might fit a specific doll. My doll rooms are overflowing. Sometimes I am even willing to sell a doll so you might see a "For Sale" doll. If you are looking for a certain doll, I might be able to help you look or even have one you might be able to buy. I will post doll pictures along the way for your enjoyment.
I am also a person who loves to cook and adjust recipes to fit my low fat and low sodium diet. When I go places where magazines are there for the reading, usually those magazines are minus a few pages of recipes when I leave. Shame on me. I can usually look at a recipe and tell if I will be able to adjust it to fit my lifestyle. So look for some food and recipes posts with what I consider "more healthy" ways to eat and just what the doctor ordered.
I really don't have specific plans on what the remaining posts might be. Probably family, including pictures and this and that.
I invite you to visit and comment as you wish. So far I have only published two posts. One is a eulogy which I have written. I would appreciate not receiving any negative comments on this as this is personal and was originally posted so that some very close friends would help me decide if I had taken the right approach. At this time, my sister is still living, but is not expected to live a long life as she is critical. My other post says it all.
Thank you for visiting. Look for some new posts before long.
